Ground Programme
The Ground Programme consists of 3 components - Community Consultation, Majalah Penita and Leadership Workshop. Together, the components work in synergy to activate ground-up interest and provides a platform for community voice.
Online Programme
Penita's online programme is developed as a resource centre and a community space for civic-engagement activities. It will integrate with the Ground Programme to ensure greater access to the community and to those previously unreachable. There will be opportunities to share and build knowledge online as well as collaborate on projects in a unique way.
New ICTs such as the internet, open source and social networking tools will be strategically used to harness the collective wisdom of the community in capturing, analysing and disseminating new ideas, information and knowledge.
